Have you been wishing for something, but it has not materialized? Have you been wishing for a new pair of shoes, or for that pair of jeans to go on sale, or for that new person to come into your life? But no matter how much you think about it, visualize it, and ask for it, it just has not happened.
Usually the first reaction after not seeing results is to stop. Stop trying, stop asking, stop visualizing and stop believing. The second is usually spiraling into negativity. This paves the way for inaction, stagnation, and even depression.
There is a saying that the Universe abhors a vacuum. This means that if there is space, it will get filled.
In turn we need to look and see if we have the space in our lives for what we are looking to gain.
Do you want a piece of clothing, but your closet is a mess? Are there clothes everywhere and filled with items you either haven’t worn in 3 years or you don’t even fit into anymore? Is there no organization to your closet? Do you rediscover clothes you had forgotten you had because they are stuffed in the back and you can’t even see them? Are there a multitude of clothes still with tags on them?
Do you want a special person to come into your life, but you still have resentment toward your ex? Do you still complain to your friends about how you were “done wrong”? Are you actually not making room because you have a fear of being vulnerable and open to another? Are you still living in the past?
It could very well be that there is just no room for anything new to come into our lives. There is no place for it. We are either physically or emotionally blocking what we are seeking. And most often we don’t see how we have blocked manifestation. We are too used to seeing our everyday world. We need to change our perspective and see where we can make room to receive.
So how do you make a vacuum?
- Clean up your closet. Get bins, totes, correct hangers and get everything in order.
- Go through your closet and donate clothes you do not wear anymore (or have not worn in a year or so).
- Release negative emotions about past relationships.
- Stop talking about the past and talk about opportunities of the present.
The Universe will respond. And you will be in action toward positive movement in your life, whether it is healing old hurts, or providing clothes to an organization that can really use them.
