Often we can have most of the ducks aligned. We have laid out most of the roadmap to move closer to where we know we should be – whether that’s a new job, a new relationships, leaving a job or relationship, developing new bonds with family and friends, taking on a new hobby, or starting a new business.

We know, like we know, like we know that the move is right.

Yet we do nothing.

This is when you know that fear has you in its grasp. And it can be a stranglehold of a grasp.

We are all ready to make the move, we’ve talked about it, we’ve planned it, and yet we find ourselves paralyzed.

This is because often we have built up the fear to an insurmountable level. We shut down thinking there is no way we can conquer it.

We even start making up great reasons why we shouldn’t go yet, or at this time, or perhaps we’ll go after we review things, reassess, or tweak. And what happens? We never move.stick_figure_ruins_400_clr_6697

We have allowed fear to take our dreams away.

Now I am not saying we should never feel fear. I believe that if we are really scared, then chances are really good we are on the right track! The trick is to keep fear in its place.

    1. Thank you Christy! Getting stuff into black and write makes things clearer. It’s easier to develop a game plan to tackle and it also is often not as “bad” as we initially think it is! 🙂
